About Us

Door Name Plates is part of Simply Wooden Gifts, which is a family run Scottish company established in 2006 to provide Personalised Gifts for Children. We are a company with a simple philosophy - treat people the way you would like to be treated yourself. We have a young family of our own and we know how difficult it can be to find something original for a special occasion, and also value for money.

We are based in the Borders town of Hawick, about 50 miles either side of Newcastle and Edinburgh. We are part of The Gift Centre Retail Group, which is our parent company.

Our Aims

Our aim is simple - to be the very best we can be by providing a unique experience to our customers and a pleasant environment for our visitors. We are dedicated to providing the very best in customer care, quality products and outstanding service and we do our utmost to reflect this in the gifts we have to offer.

We do of course make mistakes from time to time - doesn't everyone! - but you can rest assured that at least they will be honest mistakes and we will do our best to rectify them and learn from them.
